What if my photo does not match?
- Wrong dimensions. The resizer above will crop and scale your photo to 600 × 750 px. Make sure your head sits roughly in the upper centre of the crop.
- File too large. Lower the JPG quality slider in the Output panel. If you still need to shrink it, run the result through Compress.
- HEIC from iPhone. Convert it first with HEIC convert, then come back here.
- Background is busy. HM Passport Office requires a plain light grey or cream background. We can resize, but we cannot remove a background. Reshoot against a plain wall in even light.
